ON THIS HIGHWAY THE ROADKILL IS HUMAN
Strong on laughs and even stronger on gore, MONSTER MAN is an ingenious and hilarious gross-out horror comedy that comes on like \"Duel\" meets \"Jeepers Creepers\" directed by the Farrelly Brothers.
During a road trip through the desert badlands of the American Deep South to attend the wedding of a girl they both once had the hots for, bickering former college buddies Adam (Eric Jungmann) and Harley (Justin Urich) are terrorised, \"Duel\"-style, by the mysterious driver of a huge monster truck. Their situation isn't helped by Harley's constant goading of the local rednecks, all of whom appear to be missing a limb or two. Things start to look up for the pair when they pick up a sexy, midriff-baring young hitchhiker named Sarah (Aimee Brooks), a girl with a penchant for impersonating Yoda during her more intimate moments. But their testosterone–fuelled reverie is brought to an abrupt end when they witness the ghoulish, pizza-faced truck driver brutally murdering one of the patrons of the local bar at which they'd just been drinking. Soon, the phrase \"stay together\" takes on a whole new meaning as the significance of the missing limbs becomes all too apparent and the trio find themselves running for their lives from an unstoppable terror.

Written and directed by Michael Davis (100 Girls) and starring Eric Jungmann (Not Another Teen Movie, Varsity Blues), Justin Urich (The Rage: Carrie 2) and Aimee Brooks (The Hillside Strangler), MONSTER MAN is a crowd-pleasing gore-fest boasting a superb script that is packed with humorous pop culture references and laugh-out-loud one-liners.

MONSTER MAN (cert. 18) is released by High Fliers and will be available to rent on DVD and VHS from 2nd May 2005.
