Action fans won’t want to miss this intense, terrifying horror movie about the world’s most cunning crocodile serial killer when it arrives on DVD from 1st October 2007.

Packed with bonus material, there is plenty on the DVD for viewers to sink their teeth into including deleted scenes and a featurette revealing the computer wizardry behind the movie’s jaw-dropping special effects.

Primeval follows an American news crew sent to Burundi, Africa, to capture footage – and hopefully capture – a 25-foot killer crocodile who stalks a local river in search of human prey. The crew is joined by two experts: a Steve Irwin-style croc hunter and a local guide but things don’t quite go according to plan. Travelling deep into the darkest reaches of the African jungle in pursuit of the snappy serial killer, the hunters soon become the hunted when the crew falls foul of a local warlord.

Dominic Purcell (Prison Break) and Orlando Jones (Runaway Jury, Evolution) both impress in this chilling thriller but the real star of the movie is the voracious crocodile, dubbed Gustave by the locals, who is brought to life by the movie’s outstanding special effects. His spectacular computer-generated existence and savage rampage through the jungle is guaranteed to get hearts pounding and palms sweaty.

Inspired by a true story, don’t miss this action-packed adventure when it arrives on DVD from 1st October 2007.

Story synopsis
In the darkest reaches of the African jungle a bloodthirsty, 25 foot-long man-eating crocodile has been menacing local people and, upon hearing about the story, an American news crew becomes determined to get the terrifying creature on film and ultimately capture him alive.

But when producer producer Tim Freeman (Dominic Purcell, Prison Break), cameraman Steven Johnson (Orlando Jones) and the rest of their rag-tag team set out on a journey up-river in search of the colossal croc, they have no idea just how killer a story they are after. In the middle of a country suffering from the carnage of a Civil War, the reptile has become increasingly accustomed to the taste of human flesh and has evolved into a cunning serial killer. The journalists are now about to be hunted by man and reptile alike – and both are determined to outsmart them in this unique nail-biting action-thriller.
