NEVER PLAY IT ALONE
Written and directed by Kevin Tenney (Night Of The Demons, Endangered Species) and starring infamous model-turned-actress Tawny Kitaen (Gwendoline, Bachelor Party, TV's Hercules, and the star of several memorable Whitesnake videos!), WITCHBOARD is an effective shocker full of the kind of crowd-pleasing gratuitous nudity, gore and humour that 80s horror films were always guaranteed to deliver.
Demonstrating the use of a ouija board to his fellow guests at a party, Brandon Sinclair (Stephen Nichols) summons the spirit of David, a ten-year-old boy killed thirty years previously. Intrigued, Linda Brewster (Tawny Kitaen) decides to use the ouija board alone, hoping to befriend David. Unknown to Linda, the spirit she contacts is not actually David, but a malevolent entity hoping to re-enter the world of the living by possessing her. Following a series of violent murders, Brandon and Linda's boyfriend, Todd (Jim Morar), realise the truth and set out to destroy the demonic spirit before it's too late.

Eschewing over-the-top cheap shocks in favour of a strong storyline, solid acting and atmospheric thrills, WITCHBOARD is regarded as a cult classic by horror fans, its success spawning two sequels, 1993's \"Witchboard 2: The Devil's Doorway\" (again written and directed by Tenney) and 1995's \"Witchboard III: The Possession\". An eye opening showcase for the talents of Tawny Kitaen, the film also stars Todd Allen (Silverado, Grand Canyon, Wyatt Earp), Kathleen Wilhoite (Nurse Betty, TV's E.R.), Stephen Nichols (House) and veteran actress Rose Marie (The Dick Van Dyke Show).
